Pleasant Springs

Township Compost and Brush Site

The Town of pleasant Springs Brush and Composting site is  available only to residents of the township.  You must have a town of Pleasant Springs resident window decal  on your vehicle’s drivers side windshield  to gain access to the site.

Township residents,  if you do not yet have a resident permit please visit  the town clerk’s office.

Acceptable items:  

The site will accept residential compost materials consisting of:

Leaves; grass trimmings and  clean brush four inches in diameter and smaller.  

Seasonally the site will also accept natural holiday trees that are free of  all  decorations, wires and metals.

 

Prohibited items:

Any items not specifically identified as acceptable, no exceptions.

BRUSH BURNING/COMPOST SITE HOURS

 

 

The Brush/Burning Compost Site at 1754 Tower Drive will accept compost materials consisting of grass clippings and leaves, and

clean brush four inches in diameter and smaller.

 

The site is open on the following Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.:

 

Holiday tree disposal is planned for January 7 and 14, 2012

 

April 7 and 14

 

May 5 and 19

 

June 2

 

July 7

 

August 4

 

September 8

 

October 6 and 13

 

Special Hours: October 17 from 2-5 pm

 

November 3 and 10

 

Town of Pleasant Springs residents may obtain a vehicle sticker for the site at Town Hall, 2354 County Highway N. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday noon to 6:00 p.m.
