The Town of Pleasant Springs neither appoints or elects a township constable. The task of enforcing township ordnances is handled by the town board members and town chairman.
The Town Board Chairman and the Town Board Supervisors by appointment to their positions are sworn and charged with the enforcement of township ordnances.
When acting in a constabulary or traffic officer role these town officials my issue ordnance violation notices.
The Town of Pleasant Springs does not have a full time constable.
Municipal Court in the City of Stoughton hears cases referred to it as a result of ordnance violations and misdemeanors. Other violations are heard at the Dane County Court.
