Holidays observed by Town, in which all Town offices will be closed:

Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s  Day.

NEW SUMMER BRUSH BURNING COMPOST SITE HOURS!!

Beginning June 2013 through September 2013 the Town will be adjusting the Brush Burning Compost Site hours to allow for an additional day during the week. Please see the Brush Burning Compost site section of the website for the full schedule. The Town will rely on the feedback of residents to determine whether these hours will be a permanent change.


FEE FOR BRUSH BURNING COMPOST SITE

Additionally, The Town Board is considering implementing a fee for use at the Brush Burning Compost Site. Currently costs for the site continue to rise, and the Town is considering implementing a fee to offset the costs. The Board is considering a $25 annual permit fee OR a $5 daily fee. The Town Board would like to obtain feedback from the residents on the proposed changes. Feedback can be emailed to cttops@tds.net, mailed to 2354 County Highway N, Stoughton WI 53589, or residents can make in-person feedback during the public comment section of any Town Board meeting. Town Board meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.

The Town of Pleasant Springs assessment roll is available for viewing at Town Hall during office hours listed below.

Clean Sweep

The Clean Sweep Program opened May 1st at the county landfill (7102 US Hwy 12, Madison) and will be open Tuesdays-Fridays from 7 am - 2:45 pm and Saturdays from 8 am - 10:45 am.  Clean Sweep will be closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays.

NOTICE OF OPENING ON PLAN COMMISSION

Town residents wishing to serve on the Plan Commission are encouraged to send a letter of interest stating their qualifications for appointment to the Commission.

Please address your letter to the Pleasant Springs Town Board, 2354 County Rd N, 53589 or email the letter to cttops@tds.net. ALL RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00pm on May 31, 2013.

The Town Plan Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. On the second Wednesday of each month, hears all requests for rezoning, variance and special exception permits, and makes recommendations for action to the Town Board.
